Cheers to another year! When we opened our doors to this little island-themed brewery 6 years ago, it was an exciting venture where we learned a ton. We have met some amazing people whose support has enabled us to get where we are today!  

We’ve had over 25,000 people come through our doors, more-than-quadrupled production, and established a loyalty program that gives back to our fans. Our beer is found in most local restaurants this side of Brunswick county, and we are bursting at the seams and on the lookout to move so Makai can grow even more!

The beer speaks for itself! Our brew team has got it together so you can have consistent, clean, fresh beers! Not to mention we have a solid staff to make sure we produce the best products and experience when visiting our taproom. Of course we couldn’t have gone this far without you! Our trusted fans and Makai ambassadors keep on supporting us by telling the world about our brand and bringing friends and family through our doors.  

We have many plans for 2024! We have already rolled out our One-way retail kegs which allows our fans to enjoy fresh beers on tap in their own homes without the hassle of a keg deposit. One-way retail kegs are 100% recyclable so you can dispose of them safely. One-way retail kegs are available in Mango Reef Blonde Ale, Glass Beach Amber Ale, and Carolina Tropical IPA with more to be added soon. Also, we are rolling out a delivery service to our Brunswick County locals and vacationers to make it more convenient for our loyal fans. Beer delivered right to your doorstep… It’s a wonderful thing. There’s a $50 minimum order, however totally worth the convenience!
