It’s a bittersweet moment when we have to say goodbye to one of our beers…  at least for now. Our Kolsch has been a solid addition to Makai Brewing Co’s fleet of crisp, clean, Crafted Toward the Sea beer for 5 years.

We take pride in making sure we use consistent and quality ingredients to make our beers. That being said, multiple yeast manufacturers have discontinued the strain that we use for our Kolsch recipe. To stay true to style, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue production. 

Our Kolsch will be canned and kegged one last time this week so be sure to stop by and grab a pint and a few 4-packs on its way out.
